My husband and I went thru what wamu bank considered a loan modification. We had an arm loan that we fell behind on and the reps from wamu stated loan modification would be best for us. What they didn't say or tell is that only thing they did for us was modify the loan by changing it from an arm to a fixed at 10 1/2%. Do not go thru a loan modification with wamu bank without the help of someone who has already been thru this. The bank is out for themselves and not interested in helping the homeowner
